tHAT's right after a 3 year silence w/ only the occasional live album to quench your thirst for Barbarism, we'll be bringing you a studio full length sometime this summer. be warned... our upcoming effort will probably change your lives. More soon. MDUB

warm it up, the adminstrations blunder

A little line on what's been going onj outside of MDUB land. that's right folks, january 2006 was the warmest january sincew we've been keeping track of those things. the weather in general has been as fickle and scizophrenic as possible. We had a monster snow storm earlier this week ( our 1st real one this year!) that dumped 2 feet on the city. several 50+ degree days that followed have melted it right quick, the follow up punch being these all too prevalent spring like rain storms ( one of

Last night, recording soon.

Just a quick line, thanks to everyone for coming out last night, the show was a pleasure, very well attended. All the bands were great as i knew they'd be. An over all enjoyable, supportive, no B.S. kind of night which is a relief. Big props to the cake shop, i've not had a single negative experience w/ them. Which is a very rare thing w/ venues in nyc. They are basically one of the most performer friendly venues in town.

On the 22nd we will be recording our upcoming full length. It has

alfred rocks, broken earth, mdub and vegas

Alfred, NY and Adam M. ( our hook up there) Rock our Barbarian minds to their rotten cores. This past weekend, we MDUB had a memorable, wild weekend w/ local Heros the Drayton SAwyer gang as both we and them headed upstate for a few dates away from the big apple. We played a show in Rochester which was nice and then headed to the 1 stop light town of alfred, ny. We played a house party there, that for us, definitly ranks in the top 5 most satisfying shows we've had. The kids went completly

Random tour update.. late

Well, first off, i now have internet access in my room which bodes well for my pocket (damned internet lab) and for this little overview of all things Barbaric. now, back to the seemingly less relevant tour update. last we left off we had come down from an astounding high (as220 fest) to a classic mdub defeat (garfield artworks) . When in pittsburgh, the only thing that smoothes over the repeated beatings we've recieved there is a trip to pimanti bro's sandwhich shop. This is an Iron city

Okay, before all of that touring becomes ancient history, i'm going to finally attempt to rehash some of the madness that was mdub on the road for 2.5 weeks. It all started out in providence ( as all good things should ). We were lucky enough to land on the as220 20th aniversary festival which was a much anticipated kick off show. We got to providence with out incedent and to our delight saw that empire street was pretty well mobbed w/ an all day music/ arts fest. that is free to the public. We

but before the tour update.......

Hey everyone, we got back from tour safe and sound. There are so many people to thank, so many tales to tell, so many that the task is rather intimidating... As has been the case in the past, i just don't know if my fingers will fdind there way to the keyboard to update this little blog on our 15 shows, all the ups, downs and middles, the cast of charecters, bands, dive nars, ect. I'll try to get there, but you, the readers of this little blog must be patient to hear the trials and triumphs
